HWC contest #82: Food Diary Game - WEEK -20 by @arshani (21/09/2024)

Hey my dear friends 😍,

I wish you all a good day. The 21st of September is the day when the votes were to be announced for the presidential election in Sri Lanka. Because of that day, it was a day where everyone was together in our house.

My mother was busy in the kitchen all day. Because he was making delicious food for everyone to enjoy the day. However, we should appreciate organizing such a fun contest for us.

I start the day at 5 am. Before starting the day's work, breakfast was served to me. Added coconut sambal with white rice. It was eaten with some chicken gravy. Rice, coconut sambal and a spicy chicken gravy go well with the taste. I could barely hear myself and my family evaluating the food. coconut sambal is deliciously prepared by me. I felt the taste was perfect when I added a little more spicy with enough lime.

My mother had decided a very delicious recipe combination for lunch. Lentils with vegetable rice, cucumber salad, chicken curry, egg and papadam. All foods are my favorite dishes. Actually, I ate lunch while watching a movie on TV. As I am a movie enthusiast, I watched the movie while enjoying my lunch. Actually, because it was election day, we had lunch only at 4 pm.

I was really full after lunch. But everyone in the house that is my sister and brother suggested to add ice cream for dessert. So, as a support to them, I went to the super market a little away from home and brought a Pelwatta brand Butterscotch flavor ice cream. I spent 550 Sri Lankan rupees for that. It is approximately 7 Steem according to the current Steem coin.

Many types of ice cream were found in that supermarket, so I called my home mobile to find the flavor that everyone liked. Then I selected the butterscotch flavor according to everyone's preference. It was indeed a joy for me to add a perfectly balanced meal to the meal that day.

My mother had prepared enough vegetables and rice and other food for dinner. That's how we were able to add these foods for dinner. That's how my day became colorful with food. I would love to invite @pandora2010, @kyrie1234 and @bellana to take part in this wonderful contest!
