Greeting everyone, I will be participating in the Engagement Challenge in the Hindwhale Community. Where we have been asked as a challenge, the most popular employment in my country? I will discuss with you today the kind of jobs that are in demand in my nation and offer my thoughts on how to stop the rising rate of unemployment through this competition.

What is the most popular employment in your country?

There is no doubt that a nation's labour force determines employment. A nation's economic advancement is directly correlated with the level of development of its labour force. I've included three well-known Nigerian job sites below.

FREELANCING : In Nigeria, many individuals lost their jobs in 2020 as a result of Corona. During the period, the nation's unemployment rate rose. Subsequently, Nigerian youngsters developed an interest in internet employment. Because this has the benefit of allowing services to be rendered at home via the internet. This industry was not so well-liked in Nigeria even prior to 2020. But since the Corona era, freelancing has gained enormous popularity among Nigerians, and many families currently solely rely on it for their own job.

Do you believe "AI" will help or cause problems in the job market?

AI has the potential to be as dangerous to the labour market as it is helpful to us in our jobs and professions. Below, I have outlined its issues as well as resources for the employment market:

BENEFITS OF AI IN THE JOB MARKET

In the labour market, AI generates new demands.

AI is helping workers acquire new skills that will boost their productivity.

Employees' creative labour is facilitated by artificial intelligence.

By adding to the number of employment available, artificial intelligence is broadening there work is done in less hours.

Disadvantages in the job market :

• The development of artificial intelligence and modern technologies will lead to the extinction of many professions. This will result in a rise in the nation's unemployment rate.

• Artificial intelligence is enabling the adoption of numerous new technologies in garment manufacturing, which may jeopardise the employment of many women.

• Employing software engineers and graphic designers has become less popular in the nation as a result of software businesses using artificial intelligence to complete duties linked to graphic design which may not be helpful.

How can rising unemployment be reduced?

I believe that developing new talents is the best approach to lessen the current rate of rising unemployment. Increasing your demand in the job market is a terrific approach to do this. Some strategies to slow the rate of increase in unemployment are listed below:

Technical work education should equip us with the necessary skills so that our children can work for themselves by providing services.

Online employment helps lower unemployment. All people work online these days. Engaging in online work is another way that unemployment rate can be reduced.

• One can do business on their own initiative in addition to working. One strategy to end unemployment is to create jobs by opening your own business.

• By rapidly industrialising the nation, the unemployment issue can be resolved. Because a nation will have more employment prospects to establish industrial enterprises.

IN CONCLUSION, the state of a nation's economy has a major influence on how that nation develops. A nation's severance rate will also be high if it is experiencing economic difficulties. I suppose that every nation's government should take appropriate action to lower the severance rate. The nation's youth should likewise make an effort to ignore this issue at the same time. This will create a nation that can rely on itself.
