Celebration of Moharram Festival
Hello all steemians,
This is @akb01,
Muharram is considered to be the biggest festival after Eid-e-Milad in Muslim society, which is celebrated on the 10th of the first month in Islamic months. This festival is celebrated in the memory of Imam Hussain, the grandson of Prophet Mohammad, who along with 72 members of his family faced the Yazidi army numbering 3 lakhs in the field of Karbala and got great martyrdom. The festival of Muharram is to be celebrated every year all over the world and we also celebrate the festival of Muharram with great devotion every year.
The martyrdom of Karbala is celebrated in memory of Imam Hussain and his 72 soldiers including his brother, nephew, uncle, and his 6-month-old son named Ali Asghar. This festival of Muharram elevates the status of every martyr. This festival of Muharram gives us the message of peace and love. The festival of Muharram teaches us that victory cannot be achieved by violence, if victory is to be achieved and the path of non-violence has to be decided and victory can be achieved only with non-violence.
Imam Hussain's army was only 72 and Yazid's army was 3 lakhs. There were Muslims on both sides, but despite being the son of a Muslim father, Yazid used to drink alcohol, commit atrocities and disobey God, whereas Imam Hussain used to follow only the truth and he followed the path told by Allah. He rejected Yazid's kingship. He rejected Yazid's kingship. When people from Yazid's state Kufa called Imam Hussain for help, then Imam Hussain went with his family to convince Yazid, but the same people were scared of Yazid and they supported Yazid and left Imam Hussain. Gave. But Imam Hussain was stopped on the way and neither he was allowed to return home nor he was allowed to go to talk to Yazid. He was not even allowed to drink water from the pond and was martyred after being kept hungry and thirsty for three days.
So in this way, the war in the field of Karbala gives us the message of peace and peace. Those verses of the Qur'an clearly show that we will be tested in this world and Allah is capable of this. This world is of a few moments and life after death is of millions of years. The one who understood this thing, achieves success in this world. If Imam Hussain wanted, he could have participated in Yazid's kingship even by bowing his head in front of Yazid, but he was a Muslim and he cut off his head but did not bow down, so this message is also for us.
On this day we celebrated the memory of Imam Hussain for the whole day. We mentioned the name of Allah and we offered prayers in the Islamic way. Yesterday a procession was organized in our village in which different types of artistic tazias were made, which are made in memory of Imam Hussain's fast. Hindu-Muslim and all kinds of people from our village took part in this procession. In the name of Imam Hussain in the village, people were fed food, sharbat was given and poor people were helped. In this way, yesterday we also celebrated Muharram.
It had rained the whole day yesterday but our spirits were high. The rain was so much that the roads around the village were closed and the bridges were broken. But it was a procession of those who fought despite being thirsty for three days, so we were able to remember them even in heavy rain. In our village, all Hindu-Muslim and people of every religion co-operated a lot. The police of our village had made strict arrangements so that this procession does not face any kind of trouble. It had stopped raining at night and we all had celebrated Muharram very well.
