SteemCoffee business in difficult times
With a heavy heart we have to convey the problems that are currently occurring related to the SteemCoffee business that we are currently developing.
We realize that most new businesses will experience losses at the beginning because the cost of establishing and building a customer base is not easy. Moreover, the business that we founded only has very limited resources so that this is a major problem for SteemCoffee management at this time, the first month of SteemCoffee operating experienced a total loss, its sales turnover was far from the target so that management needs to evaluate future plans.
Will SteemCoffee be continued or not?
The SteemCoffee concept will continue even though we have to find a new location or place, because I have a dream that SteemCoffee will be big in Indonesia, because over time Indonesian Steemit users are increasing day by day, so that the existence of SteemCoffee is a business opportunity that must be maintained.
However, to continue at the current location, SteemCoffee's internal management is looking for a solution regarding this matter, whether this will be continued or not, we will convey it after SteemCoffee's internal deliberation in the next few days, considering that this business is run by more than one person so that an agreement is needed to be able to draw a conclusion so as not to harm each other.
What about the Global Meet-Up Event, is it still going on?
In this case, SteemCoffee acts as the implementer of the activity and also related to the official account @steemcoffee88 which is used as a fundraising account, we need to convey that Global Meet-Up 2024 will continue according to the schedule that has been set, namely September 8, 2024.
In preparation for the 2024 Global Meet-Up Event, the organizing committee will hold a follow-up evaluation meeting on August 21, the evaluation meeting will later discuss the progress of the preparations and will also discuss the polemics that are currently occurring in the SteemCoffee business.

Dengan berat hati kami harus menyampaikan permasalahan yang sedang terjadi terkait bisnis SteemCoffee yang sedang kami kembangkan baru-baru ini.
Kami menyadari bahwa sebagian besar bisnis baru akan mengalami kerugian di awal karena biaya pendirian dan membangun basis pelanggan bukanlah hal yang mudah. Apalagi bisnis yang kami didirikan hanya memiliki sumber daya yang sangat terbatas sehingga hal ini menjadi permasalahan utama bagi manajemen SteemCoffee saat ini, satu bulan pertama SteemCoffee beroperasi mengalami kerugian total, omset penjualannya jauh dari yang di targetkan sehingga pihak manajemen perlu melakukan evaluasi terkait rencana kedepan.
Apakah SteemCoffee akan dilanjutkan atau tidak?
Konsep SteemCoffee akan tetap dilanjutkan meskipun harus mencari lokasi atau tempat yang baru, karena saya memiliki mimpi bahwa SteemCoffee akan menjadi besar di Indonesia, karena seiring waktu berjalan pengguna steemit Indonesia semakin bertambah dari hari ke hari, sehingga keberadaan SteemCoffee menjadi peluang bisnis yang harus di pertahankan.
Namun untuk melanjutkan di lokasi yang sekarang, Management internal SteemCoffee sedang mencari solusi terkait hal ini, apakah ini akan dilanjutkan atau tidak, itu akan kami sampaikan setelah musyawarah internal SteemCoffee dalam beberapa hari kedepan, mengingat bisnis ini dijalankan oleh lebih dari satu orang sehingga perlu adanya kesepakatan untuk dapat mengambil satu kesimpulan agar tidak saling merugikan.
Bagaimana dengan Even Meet-Up Global, apakah tetap berlangsung?
Dalam hal ini SteemCoffee bertidak sebagai pelaksana kegiatan dan juga terkait akun resmi @steemcoffee88 yang dijadikan sebagai akun penggalangan dana, maka perlu kami sampaikan bahwa Meet-Up Global 2024 akan tetap dilanjutkan sesuai dengan jadwal yang telah ditetapkan, yaitu tanggal 8 September 2024.
Untuk persiapan Event Meet-Up Global 2024, panitia pelaksana akan melakukan rapat evaluasi lanjutan pada tanggal 21 Agustus, rapat evaluasi nantinya akan membahas terkait progres persiapan dan juga akan membahas terkait polemik yang sedang terjadi pada bisnis SteemCoffee.

In my opinion, Steem Coffee is a good business. But after reading this report, I'm a bit surprised and disappointed because developing a new business is not easy, especially in this inflationary era.
perhaps the reason I'm feeling this way is that you expected to achieve the target, but since coffee is a winter season business, it might not be possible to achieve the target as expected.
Moreover, before starting a new business, one should keep in mind that it may take 6 months to a year for it to develop. And regarding this, I would like to suggest that you should continue running it till the winter season and see if you can recover all your losses.
I would definitely like to see what advice the Steemit Team has to offer on this matter.
