"Weekly Drawing Contest 15 | Drawing Of your Rose Flower" @rajithpriyasad
Hi Friends,
"Drawing Of your Rose Flower"
I will put my creativity to the test by participating in the "Weekly Drawing Contest 15' invitation to draw a rose". Since it is impossible to find a rose in the natural environment in which I working, So I decided to create my painting based on an image of a rose online.
Today I live "Weekly Drawing Contest 15" and I recognized joining this contest as a good opportunity to improve my knowledge of drawing and writing skills. I have been given this opportunity. Thank you @m-fdo for giving this opportunity. Before starting this challenge, thank the person who took this picture of the rose and acknowledge their fun and talent.
Before discussing the basics, let's talk about painting tools.
Drawing Tools |

● White colour A4 sheet |

● Pencil |

● Colour Pencil |

● Eraser |

Let's discuss it step by step |
---|
Let's focus on the tools used in painting and collect all the things we need. Accordingly, let's further describe the painting process.
Hope this will be a great guide to fulfil your wishes and give a fresh start to the experience.
First Step |
---|
First, the basic outline of the rose was lightly drawn with a screen. It is very important to pay attention to capture the natural shape of the flower. After drawing a round shape for the center of the coral, proceed to mark the places where the coral will form. |
---|
Second Step |
---|
Now, work began on each coral. Attempts were made to capture the natural curves and tiers of the rose petals and petals. With one petal drawing the other petal later, the natural look of the flower can be achieved. I did it in several parts that day. |
---|
Third Step |
---|
By drawing gradients and shadows, red crayon was manipulated across the paper, emphasizing the shadows and gradients falling on the corals. It was useful in clarifying the thinness and depth of the flower. |
---|
Fourth Step |
---|
Here, further work was done to show the shadows and line patterns of the leaves of the flower. Here the color pencil was weighted and relaxed on the paper to give a good look to the flower. |
---|
Final Step |
---|
Adding the final details, shadows were created using black pencils so that the rose was completely recognizable. This made it possible to show the flower very clearly on the paper. |
---|
Final Step With Me |
---|
Take a photo with my pencil drawing |

Using the above steps you can get a good experience for creating a rose. There, there is no environment to find a natural rose, so I decided to find an image on the internet and draw the series.

After completing all the steps of the painting, I trust that the image and color of my design will recognize the result as a compromise. This rose, which I created based on an image I found online, was a great experience to improve my drawing skills.
