Materials For Construction

• Plain A4 paper
• Pencil
• Colours
• Eraser
• Sharpener
• Ruler

Step 1
I began by drawing the outline of the home. The home measured 5 inches in length and 3.5 inches high. I also draw the outline of the roofing. All this was carried out using a pencil.

Step 2
Here, I sketch the windows and doors of one side of the home.

Step 3
At this stage, I lightly erase the pencil sketch and trace it with a brown colour. I also design a block pattern around one side of the building using brown colour.

Step 4
I used orange colour to lightly shade the block pattern, and that makes it look like a brick block. I also shaded the roof above the windows using black colour.

Step 5
I designed and shaded the door and windows using brown colour.

Step 6
Here, I design the windows on the other side of the house using brown colour. I also shaded the roof above the window using a black colour

Step 7
At this stage, I design a block pattern around the building with a brown colour. I then used orange colour to shade the block pattern and that makes it look like bricks.

Step 8
I designed and shaded the roof of the entire house using a black colour. Another thing I did here is that l drew a chimney flashing on top of the building. I also designed a block pattern and coloured it like the main building.

Step 9
I drew flowers in front of the house using green colour and yellow colour.
