Hola a todos los integrantes de esta maravillosa comunidad de Around the World. Comparto con ustedes mi juego del diario de hoy jueves 15/07/2021:
Hello to all the members of this wonderful Around the World community. I share with you my game from today's newspaper, Thursday 15/07/2021:
En la mañana asistí a una reunión en las instalaciones de la empresa donde trabajo. Debido a la pandemia estamos laborando vía teletrabajo, sin embargo hoy me tocó una reunión de manera presencial.
In the morning I attended a meeting at the premises of the company where I work. Due to the pandemic we are working via teleworking, however today I had a meeting in person.
En la siguiente foto aparezco con 2 grandes amigos y compañeros de trabajo.

Al regresar a mi casa, me senté en la computadora a revisar un material de la maestría que estoy cursando, ya que el día sábado tengo clases con un nuevo módulo denominado Organización y Sistemas de Información Gerencial.
Upon returning home, I sat down at the computer to review some material from the master's degree that I am studying, since on Saturday I have classes with a new module called Organization and Management Information Systems.
En la tarde realicé unas ricas empanadas de queso. Su preparación es muy sencilla, solo necesitas harina de maíz (utilicé precocidad), un poquito de harina de trigo, agua, sal y azúcar al gusto. Simplemente se mezclan todos los ingredientes hasta formar una masa suave.
In the afternoon I made some delicious cheese empanadas. Its preparation is very simple, you only need corn flour (I used earliness), a little wheat flour, water, salt and sugar to taste. Simply mix all the ingredients to form a smooth dough.
El poquito de harina de trigo se emplea con la finalidad de que la empanada no adsorba mucha grasa.
The little bit of wheat flour is used so that the pie does not absorb much fat.
Posteriormente, para tender la empanada, se utiliza un trozo de tela suave o plástico. Yo utilicé una bolsa de plástico de reciclaje.
Later, to spread the empanada, a piece of soft cloth or plastic is used. I used a plastic recycling bag
Se toma una porción de masa y se moldea de manera circular, luego se coloca sobre el plástico y se extiende quedando como se muestra en la siguiente foto.
A portion of dough is taken and it is molded in a circular way, then it is placed on the plastic and spread, remaining as shown in the following photo.
Luego se le coloca el relleno, el cual puede ser de tu preferencia. En esta oportunidad utilicé queso rallado.
Then the filling is placed, which may be of your preference. This time I used grated cheese.
El siguiente paso es doblar por la mitad (uniendo las orillas), quedando como se muestra en la siguiente foto:
The next step is to fold in half (joining the edges), remaining as shown in the following photo:
Luego se fríen con el aceite bien caliente. El resultado final es el siguiente:
Then they are fried with the very hot oil. The final result is the following:
Las acompañamos con un jugo de guayaba con fresas, el cual es muy nutritivo.
We accompany them with a guava juice with strawberries, which is very nutritious.
Es importante mencionar que en Venezuela las empanadas se preparan de diferentes maneras según la localidad. Hay Ciudades donde las elaboran saladas y en otros sitios son dulces. En el oriente del país las preparan dulces. Las he comido de ambas formas, sin embargo mis preferidas son con su toque dulce.
It is important to mention that in Venezuela empanadas are prepared in different ways depending on the locality. There are cities where they make them salty and in other places they are sweet. In the east of the country they prepare sweets. I have eaten them both ways, however my favorites are with their sweet touch.
Como pudieron apreciar las empanadas son muy fáciles de preparar. ¡Se las recomiendo!.
