Assalamualaikum .. stemians friends wherever you are, how are you today, I hope all is well and running smoothly on this cheerful Saturday.

On this sunny day I will try to entertain all of my friends with a post about the insect I hunted this morning behind the house, a wasp type insect which in scientific language is Sceliphron caementarium, in the area where I live this is called the black mud wasp, in several other areas this type of wasp is named the black-yellow mud wasp because he builds his nest from mud and his body color is black and yellow variant.

Sceliphron caementarium belongs to the group of stinging wasps, usually he stings small spiders making him paralyzed then takes him to his nest and puts him in his nest, his purpose is as food for wasp children after undergoing several metamorphosis processes.

While the wasp Sceliphron caementarium itself sucks flower nectar from plants to survive, as seen in the photo I took it looks like the wasp is eating nectar, I can only capture a few angles of the photo, because he is very sensitive to movement and this wasp is known to be aggressive.
