The Faisal Mosque is Pakistan's largest temple, located in the national capital of Islamabad. Completed in 1986, it was designed by Turkish artist Vedat Dalokay, built as an empty Bedouin tent, the symbol of Islamabad worldwide.

ALTHOUGH it is suspected that from the construction of the Bedouin tent, the Faisal Mosque looks like a port of space among the stars. With modern architecture, state-of-the-art geometry and a reference to the holiest site in Mecca, the Faisal Mosque is a unique concept of Islamic upliftment for generations.

It is present in the western hills of the Himalayas. It is located on a high plateau overlooking the beautiful Margalla Hills. This beautiful place represents a large number of mosques and allows it to be seen from miles around the clock.

The Faisal Mosque was established as Pakistan's National Mosque and was named after the late King Faisal bin Abdul-Aziz of Saudi Arabia, who supported and supported the project.

Pakistan's largest mosque, Faisal Mosque was the largest mosque in the world from 1986 to 1993, when it was surpassed in size by the recently completed Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca, Morocco. Subsequent expansion of the Masjid al-Haram (Grand Mosque) of Mecca and the Al-Masjid al-Nabawi (Prophet's Mosque) in Medina, Saudi Arabia, during the 1990s reduced the Faisal Mosque to fourth place.

The momentum of the Islamic church began in 1966 when King Faisal bin Abdul-Aziz supported the Pakistani Government's plan to build a national mosque in Islamabad during a visit to Pakistan.

Different setup were presented at rhat time almost 43 but the winning design was created by Turkish artist Vedat Dalokay. Construction of an Islamic church began in 1976 by the National Construction of Pakistan, led by Azim Khan and funded by the Saudi Arabian government, with more than 130 million Saudi dollars (about $ 120 million today). King Faisal bin Abdul Aziz made a significant contribution to the project, and the mosque and the road leading to it were named after his assassination in 1975. The mosque was completed in 1986, and it was used to build the International Islamic University.

Many traditional Muslims have criticized their true structure for its construction which is inconsistent with the lack of traditional buildings, but much criticism ended when the scale, temples and mosques were demolished near Margalla Hills became clear.

The inside view of the lot is also very attractive and beautiful and it was not a good idea for its viewers if you are visiting Pakistan you should visit the Faisal mosque and I hope you will really enjoy it.

The Faisal Mosque is therefore the largest and oldest mosque in Pakistan. It is built in a very elegant style and offers a beautiful and elegant view to the viewers. More than 300,000 people can pray inside it. This is an important testament to Pakistani culture and religious values. It is named after King Shah Faisal of Saudi Arabia. Go and give a good bean look to their viewers.
