#Club5050//Contest Sttemit Plants Week #19 - Nipple Fruit
Hello everybbody,
Thank you much @ strawbeery for initiating this contest appreciation for plants which is part of our environment.
This is a Nipple-fruit whose botanical name is Solanum Mammosum. It is also known as Foxhead, Cow's Udder, Nipple-fruit nightshade and Apple-of-sodom. It is commonly known as Nipple-fruit because of its similarity to human breasts. It is a Pan American fruit, although unedible and used for ornamental purposes instead. It's plant type is shrub whose lifespan is perennial and bloom time is spring and summer.
Nipple-fruit is super easy to take care of, with resistance to almost pests and diseases. It is perfect option for gardeners with brown thumbs. This source I got from Picture This App.
This plant I snapped when we visited "Buwakan Ni Alejandra" meaning The Flower Garden of Alejandra, a tourist spot here in our Island of Cebu specifically at the Municipality of Balamban. I was with my 2nd daughter and two granddaughters.
The flower garden covers an area of 700sqm full of 200 varieties of colorful flowers. We really enjoyed our visit there.
I am inviting @aideleijoie @jewel1989 to join this contest.
Thanks for dropping by...
