A Joyful Walima Celebration with Family and Friends - 10/11/24

Assalamualaikum my fellows I hope you will be fine by the grace of Allah. Today I am going to share a wedding party which I have attended recently.

As the winters are approaching so the weddings are going on with great swing. Each day there is the invitation for the wedding ceremony. Yesterday it was also the wedding invitation. It was the wedding of my first cousin. I was excited to attend this ceremony. The ceremony venue was far from the home. It was in the marquee and the time for the start of the ceremony was of evening.

To attend this ceremony I completed my shop and household works quickly so that I could reach there soon. But in the busy schedule I hardly manage my time to go there.

The marquee was about 8 kilometres from the home. After getting ready I got the bike. The petrol pump was on the way so at one place I stopped the bike to fill petrol in it. It was not easy to drive because of the dust and smog all around. Due to the smog I am already having throat problem and I am feeling flu.

By driving carefully while thriving from the traffic I reached the destination. It was a beautiful marquee for the celebration of the marriage ceremony. Today it was walima. For your information walima is a day in the wedding full of festive. This day there is a feast by the groom. Many people were invited including the relatives and friends. The decorations were really very fascinating.

I greeted with the knowing ones. The decorations were really attracting me a lot. This was the specially designed stage for the groom. It was decorated with different lights. There were garland's inside and outside this stage. The mirrors were enhancing the decorations more. Everyone was coming there to greet the groom and to take pictures with him. After waiting there some time my other family members and cousins also reached there.

I got the company of my cousins and we enjoyed a lot while talking about different matters of life and the wedding ceremony events as well. When almost all the guests were there everyone was served with the delicious meal. The meal was versatile. In the meal there was chicken korma, chicken biryani, sweet rice with naan. To make it more charming there was the addition of the cold drinks because everyone likes to take cold drinks nowadays.

I enjoyed each bite of the food as it was full of deliciousness and taste. I ate chicken biryani which was very tasty. Then I mixed some gravy in it to enhance its taste and deliciousness more. After the food it was again a photo session. I spent some more time there and then I reached home.
