Since my years in the cryptocurrency ecosystem up till date I must admit that when it comes to practicing safety, I am that dude that don't in any way plays with that. Safety when it comes to the cryptocurrency ecosystem is something that you should practice deep down no matter what. As per those in the cryptocurrency we must have come across one or two news regarding being scammed. This is why in all you do out there, we should knows that practicing safety is very vital. The truth still stand that waring against scammer has not been easy as scammers deploy new strategies and ways to get people scammed day in day out. The more good project comes with good mindset, the more scammer use the opportunities to defraud people. If you are in the cryptocurrency ecosystem and the blockchain at large, you should practice safety. Nobody knows when you can get hit. If exchange or big project can be hacked, there is every tendency that anybody out there can fall same.

Before connecting your cryptocurrency wallet to any cryptocurrency project out there you should make me sure that you carry out proper investigation.

A friend of mine told me recently that he got hacked simply because he felt for a scam that looks easy but smart. This is how it happened. He was really not feeling himself that day so he was browsing through Twitter when he saw a link telling him that snyswap airdrop is now. Because he has been interacting with Synswap, he though that it is real. He never checked on the twitter page and the link that he was asked to click. He click on the link, link his wallet and click on claim, the moment he does that, his Arb Eth all got withdrawn. Just imagine the smart way. From the look of things his wallet wasn't compromise as that is the wallet he is using for farming. I told him to quickly use remove.cash to revoke access given to that scammers to his wallet. He did and the account is fine.

One thing that I will also say is that you should have a separate wallet for airdrop related activities. The moment you make good amount of money from it you should move it out to your main wallet. Never use that main wallet for anything.
