Hi @sandracarrasca, Impulsivity is an emotion that originates from survival instinct, that is why there is no logical reasoning and on the contrary negative actions are evidenced as consequences of these impulsive acts.
If we are frequently impulsive we should evaluate ourselves and seek professional help.
