FINAL weekly report. Community Curator Program / @steemcurator06, week 4
INTRODUCTION
past month, our community has enjoyed having access to @steemcurator06 with it's 200k Steem Power. Managing this account and being able to reward users from within our PH community has allowed our entire team to move forward.
Unfortunatelly, it seem that the old saying is true: all good things must come to an end. I'm sure most of us know this saying, right?
Our journey and collaboration with STINC seems to be also coming to an end. It seems that our project wasn't selected to receive support within the upcoming month of June.
INITIAL THOUGHTS
Initially, it made me feel somewhat disappointed. I presume many of us assumed the goal behind the steemitblog initiative was to support growing communities long term, instead of just providing a short-term boost. We've planned our growth and assumed wrongly that our efforts will be acknowledged and we will continue to enjoy being part of the Community Curators Program.
Well, we were wrong.
So, this is most likely our last weekly report (final one) and starting from the 1st of June (tomorrow) this initiative is coming to an end. It's saddening, simply because I don't think our results achieved within just a month can be sustained long term.
So it's hard not to wonder if it was worth it. Some window of opportunity to collaborate with STINC just got shut in front of us and left many of us speachless. I think we all expected at least to get some feedback in return. We didn't get any.
STEEM-ONLY group on our community discord
This channel will be closed, since it will no longer make any sense to continue posting exclusively on Steem blockchain since there will be no more incentives to do so.
For that reason, tomorrow this group will be removed from our discord and things will fully go back to normal. Just the way it was before we started being part of this initiative. And it is important for all of you, dear community members, to be aware that this initiative will be no longer be running. You cannot expect being rewarded by posting steem-exclusive content any more within PH.
MOVING FORWARD; ANTI-PLAGIARISM department
This short-lived collaboration with STINC allowed us to gain more experience, attracted new users to our community and forced us to re-organize ourselfs. We've also established our own internal anti-plagiarism department.
We've also realized, that relying on support from one large and uncertain stakeholder is simply very risky and can easily backfire. For that reason our core team will increase efforts in June related to promoting our delegation passive income program and encourage smaller and medium sized accounts to either delegate to PH, or join our curation trail.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank @juanmolina and @gbenga for investing their own time and energy. And for all work they did while being part of this initiative in month of May. You guys ROCK!
FINAL WORD
Project.hope will continue supporting it's community members with its current limited resources. Just the way we did so far. Hopefully steemauto will be re-created in June and also optimistically we will manage to secure some new delegations, which would allow our team to grow futher.
We will continue being neutral towards the current conflict between HIVE and STEEM and we will continue to support active and engaging authors on both chains.

This curatorship activity that we have had during the month of May has meant a new experience for me, which I have enjoyed very much and has left many satisfactions for me.
Having the opportunity to award better rewards to our content creators has filled me with joy.
From my point of view, we did a great job, the distribution was quite wide and democratic. We were able to support writers inside and outside PH, managing the VP to maximize rewards, which is a great achievement.
Unfortunately, this period has come to an end.
We will continue with our routine activity, which we do with a lot of love and dedication. We will continue building bonds of friendship and commitment inside and outside PH. We will continue increasing the number of subscribers (Currently, more than 1.2K).
Each of us can act as a multiplying agent and carry the message of hope so that new subscribers and delegators can join us every day.
I send a very special greeting to @gbenga. It has been a rewarding experience working with you.
Thanks @project.hope is and will continue to be a great support for everyone, I think that in some way united growth is a great help since sailing alone is not the same as sailing as a team, and this sea of opportunities is very great, so we must be united to be able to jump the obstacles.

You are, as always I have found absolutely correct regarding united growth. I remember the first time I heard the expression...
I was fascinated by the idea that alone a motor a gearbox and a steering wheel are just scrap metal & do not have much use, but when they are combined with all the necessary parts & assembled into one powerful machine, they have the potential to take us all the way around the planet at incredibly high speeds
Some of my words may become lost in translation between our languages, I think the greatest and simplest way of describing the mighty power of community and togetherness is like this...
1+1+1+1+1 may appear to make 5 but in my opinion, when combined together & when working together with a single aim they have the amazing potential to make so much more!
May we all find a way to play our part and become far more powerful and focussed than each of us are when we stand alone. To the future my friend 😎
I have always believed wholeheartedly that as one door appears to close others are just waiting for their opportunity to swing wide open and be stepped through.
Yes you are right, when all of your eggs are in one rather large basket you are at more risk than you may realise in times when things are rolling along comfortably.
I am certain that when the community has an opportunity to share ideas and take some time for reflection on what strategies could be implemented, some wonderful suggestions will come to light.
We are faced with the prospect of carrying on building one the extremely solid foundations you guys have set in place and assuming we all come together in the spirit of building from the bottom up the future will be far brighter than it may appear today 😎
Let me clarify something before I sign off though. My thoughts do not stem from blind optimism and a naive, happy-clappy desire to see rainbows where in-fact rain-clouds exist but from a solid belief in the potential of people with a vision and of community centered aims.
Let us be resolute, focussed and take the action that is clearly necessary, the darkest clouds often appear before the most illuminating dawn.
I love your writing.
Thankyou my friend. I try and write with passion and heart and not just my mind alone. I hope to put my writing to good use to try and bring a little attention to and stimulate positivity and growth within our fantastic little community.
It may take some thinking time to come up with some great ideas on how we can drive forward together, BUT I have little doubt that between us we are creative enough, thoughtful enough and community focussed enough to affect the change that we both want and need to see as we move forward.😎

The most important thing about this is the learning we have obtained you are more than clear that we are one of the strongest and most important steemit communities, So much so that even in other chains they mention us and create noise.For me that means we are doing well, so let's keep going creating opportunities!
Absolutely! What we face here is not just a problem to cause us sadness and despair BUT rather it is the chance to seek our next opportunity. We shall find opportunity my friend, I have no doubt 😎

Hello @projecto.hope, @crypto.piotr and all the founders of this great project.
No doubt it has brought many advances this month that is about to end. The creation of an anti-plagiarism team is a big step, without a doubt.
And focusing on getting more support from the medium and small ones seems to be a good way to go. Little by little something more solid can be built. Knowing the elimination of the discord channel, and back to normal. We will continue to move forward, from neutrality and support among all. This community is an example of what can be achieved with a good leader, with a good idea. And to stay out of the war of interests is the best thing.
Thanks a lot for this piece of information. It was certainly an interesting experiment and I would also have liked to have a bit more time to see the results of it. @juanmolina and @gbenga have done an amazing job managing this account. Anyways, we shouldn't lament it too much and continue with positive energy ;-)
The Project Hope team has been doing a wonderful job here. It will be sad to see it all go away so quickly. We cannot say right now what the STINC team have in mind for recruiting some curators for the month of May, then another set for June. I just believe they have best interest of the community at heart, and Project Hope is working in the best interest of the steem community. I believe things will fall in place pretty soon.
