Elon plans to take 1 million people to Mars and that is really tricky. First getting to mars is a very big problem, being able to adapt in mars is another problem. If this two are successful, then we have the third which is finding food and accommodation for the people who will be volunteering to go as people who will be going will be volunteers and they will need food, shelter and clothing, at least the basic needs of life.
