Ever since the start of the Pandemic, a lot of workers have been told to work from home and some of them have not been productive as they were before because it is not easy to work from the comfort of your home. In this article, I will share with you guys one final way you can be able to be more productive while working from home.
Always Sleep Early And Get Enough Sleep Time
When we start working from home, we tend not to sleep early because we see no reason to sleep early, as we won't be rushing to get to work on time. It is quite natural. We often would think that after a long day work, we should have fun at night by watching movies or playing games till 1am or 2am and sometimes till 4am or 5am. By doing this, you have disrupted your normal flow, which will make you less productive the next day. You normally wake up at 5:30am, but since you slept by 1am or 2am, you won't want to wake up at 5:30am and since you are not going to work, more reason to wake up late. You wake up, let's 9am or 10am, your day is already half way gone. Before you will get yourself organized to face the daily work stuffs, it's already 2pm. Before you say Jack Robinson, it is 8pm and the day is already over for work. You will still want to have a bit of fun, by staying late in the night and the circle repeats itself. You become less productive because you are not getting a proper sleep time.
And also, sleeping late, makes you less energized when waking up. Be it that you sleep the recommended 7 - 9 hours, from 2am till 9am or 10am. You will feel drained and tired when waking up, I really don't know the reason for that, but that's just how it always is. So, if you want to be more productive while working from home, ensure you go to bed on time, let's say at top 11pm and you will notice how refreshed and rejuvenated you will be the next day, hence, you will be more productive.
I hope you all found the article interesting and exciting. Do well to share your thoughts about the article in the comment section below. Thanks.
hello @menoski,
I personally find it more productive to work at night for many reasons, the main reason being the peace and quiet that the night offers and also the internet speed is faster so I like to work more at this time when everyone is asleep.

Working from home can be a little difficult since we are tempted to feel comfortable and return back to bed but getting to sleep early will prevent us from feeling lazy and sleepy in the mornings.
