Bitcoin has had many opposition from different bodies and the SEC have proven to be one of the biggest so far as they have big say when it comes to implementing regulatory polices don't know how much time it will take the SEC to understand bitcoin is the future of finance.
You're totally right. The SEC has much power as regards regulatory affairs and they don't seem so happy about the current situation of crypto. The silver lining is there are a few folks there who show some degree of understanding for Bitcoin and crypto...
