Zombie genes in your brain come to life after you die/Genes zombis de tu cerebro cobran vida después de morir

As you all know, the brain is the most complex organ in our body, even that of those who use it very occasionally, but despite all the studies, what we do not know is still much more than what we know, it was already known that after death the brain's cellular activity stops irreversibly, or so it seemed.

Although it may sound like a horror movie, according to the latest scientific discoveries made at the University of Illinois at Chicago, they have discovered a group of genes in the brain that become more active after clinical death, studying samples of brain tissue from patients undergoing brain surgery.

When experts try to study the different psychiatric disorders such as Alzheimer's or schizophrenia, they can only use postmortem tissues, the results obtained are compared with those of living tissues and an attempt is made to discover which genes are involved in all these brain pathologies.

As a result of these comparisons, the scientists realized that there was a group of neuronal genes that was decreasing rapidly while the number of genes in glial cells, cells of the nervous system responsible for controlling the cellular environment, increased dramatically.

This may seem surprising a priori, but we have to bear in mind that glial cells are in charge of "repairing" and cleaning the cellular environment after a brain accident occurs either due to lack of oxygen or some other stroke and I think there is nothing more traumatic for us than death so it is their moment to act.

This type of genes called "zombie" could be useful to expand our knowledge of the brain, for example to determine the moment of death of an organism with greater precision or, who knows, they are also the explanation for the phenomenon of experiences close to the death, with the tunnel, the white light and so on.

I'm actually reading or hearing something like this for the first time.. Wow! We learn everyday. I just hope mine won't come back to life after I'm dead though 😂😂

Thanks for sharing this great post with love from @hardaeborla and I hope you have a great day ahead ❤️💕❤️

Thanks for comment @hardaeborla.

Thanks @mauromar for shearing I have learn something new from your post.

Thanks for your important information.your post is always very useful to us.we learn many new things.

Thank you so much for your helpful post. Your post is always very knowledge able for us. Thanks this share.

The title made me focus directly on this publication ... I hope my brain doesn't come back to life after I pass away xd I am legend.

I don't want to imagine how scary it would be if science to discover and explain what anyone feels when they die, it would be crazy and might change many things in the world and maybe in our daily lives because people will either be scared or ready to face death.

Thanks for your useful post.your post is always valuable to us.plz keep it up.

Very interesting this beech, it highlights the complexity of our brain and if it could explain much of these phenomena experienced by people who have been dead for a few minutes. But if these cells are in charge of repairing the cellular environment, it would not be strange to discover that their activity increases at the moment of death, perhaps in their attempt to avoid the cellular deterioration of the brain.

Yes.
It's true what you said.
Thank you for sharing.

this post well crafted and dished. i learnt something new today and I wanna say thanks for sharing
