Equatic is a Los Angeles startup out of the UCLA Samueli School of Engineering that has partnered with Boeing to create the first technology capable of generating hydrogen while extracting carbon dioxide from the environment, thus killing two birds with one stone.

Thanks to this association, Equatic will manage to eliminate 62,000 tons of carbon dioxide from the environment, with which it will produce 2,100 tons of totally carbon-free hydrogen that it will deliver to Boeing.
