DECEMBER HAS ARRIVED AND WITH IT, THE JOY OF CHRISTMAS

Greetings and welcome dear readers, especially to all those users who make life daily in the #projecthope community, the publication that we will share below is aimed at expressing the emotion and the feeling that as Zulian we feel when approaching the Christmas holidays, where family togetherness, reunion and sharing, become the delight for the whole family.

In this sense, I would like to express those musical and audiovisual experiences that are commonly shared in my family and that awaken the Zulian fervor and the joy of living in a blessed land, where the warmth, the smiles and the jocularity of our culture surrounds us daily.

As I have expressed, I am of Venezuelan nationality and my lifestyle is rooted in the Zulian tradition and although I am not a Maracucho, in our family's Christmas celebrations we cannot miss our great gaita, the one that shows us how great the Zulian culture is and how proud we are to have been born in this great land.

So the gaita becomes that musical reference in our festivities and to express that I have a specific playlist would be a lie, since the gaitas in general lines for a Zulian are extraordinarily good, as is our lake and our great lightning of Catatumbo, which represents us nationally and internationally.

Consequently, I will leave you the link of some gaitas that we listen to in our Christmas celebrations and that make me shudder when I listen to them and make me highlight the love for the family and the love for this land.

Christmas carols are another type of melodies that undoubtedly enhance the Christmas holidays and through them, we remember that we are about to celebrate and commemorate the birth of our eternal father, the one who had the ability to give everything for each of us and for the forgiveness of our sins.

So the fervor of our people is felt through these carols that remind us of the love and commitment to our family and are one of the ways where we can foster the spirit of Christmas in the little ones of our house.

Another of the fundamental aspects that awakens the love and joy of the Christmas holidays, is to be able to assemble our small tree together with each member of the family, and create each ornament, where in many cases we use recyclable materials and it is there, where each of our children are committed and contribute their bit to make this possible, so that we are promoting in them the wisdom, values and traditional principles that represent and identify us as Zulianos and that makes us value the birth of Jesus.

When it's time to share with the family, hallacas are a must, but especially those family gatherings, where everyone works to prepare them, some people enjoy the stew, others prepare the hallacas and others, like me, just tie them up and eat them.

With respect to movies I really like a Christmas dream where love and dreams at Christmas time are possible, you just need to believe and imagine it to make it possible. In the case of the little ones of the house, the star of Bethlehem is an ideal animated film for them, here we can see reflected the companionship, the union and friendship in each animal that enters the scene and that are on the way to find the star of Bethlehem.

Consequently, December and the Christmas season allow us to stay united, it is a time to share and value our loved ones and remember that love prevails over all things.
