Debts are a serious thing, more so when we talk about debts that countries acquire, because they are usually large amounts. The issue in this case is that the money is not always for the benefit of the country itself but of a few rulers who keep part of that money, corrupt, which we know there are everywhere, but there are countries where they are without any limits.
