Despite the fact that he criticized Bitcoin, Elon musk on Wednesday jul 21 said he is still a supporter of bitcoin and his two companies also own bitcoin but he still talked about his environmental concerns about the crypto currency.

Elon musk supports bitcoin but he is concern about the environmental problem in mining crypto but he doesn't know that 99% mined today is with renewable.

According to elon musk he said one thing you need to be worried about especially bitcoin using proof of work is that it uses a lot of energy which is too much and not necessary good for the environment.

Elon musk also stated that he owns bitcoin and also his companies own bitcoin too and for the first time he said his company spacex has bitcoin which is crazy.
