Learning To Keep Routines
Humans are creatures of habit, and the more you have a stable routine of how you get work completed, you'll see that it's easier to keep getting more work completed. But unfortunately, most people don't keep routines, because they've not made it a habit.
When a person makes a habit of not keeping routines, usually their lives get very disorganized; because there's no specific time for anything. When you look at the society, and how it is structured, you'll notice that it is structured on routines.
Let's take for example, the way schools and big companies operate. In schools, there's usually a timetable - which helps both the teachers and the students to know exactly at what time what subject will be taught. Hence, they prepare themselves for it.
Same with big organizations, businesses or companies - there's time for everything. In fact, months of routine operations are planned ahead. And daily routines help to keep this organized, and ensure that goals are accomplished each day.
These routines ensure that smaller goals are accomplished each day - which helps make the bigger goals come to reality. When you keep routines, you free up your mind from the stress of - thinking of what you should do next, because you simply follow the routine.
Hi @greatideas, I think that being able to generate habits in life allows you to be a more efficient person and fulfill the tasks at the time that it deserves. A kind of time planning is generated for specific tasks every day.
Thanks for sharing, have a great week.
