What are the similarities between video games and philosophy?

Greetings to all colleagues, today I share this doubt that I reflected on a quiet day, the fact that they have or have to do with video games, with the philosophy, well I started to dig a little and this was what I understood about it.

Video games can be seen as an art form that allows players to immerse themselves in different worlds and experience ethical and moral situations and dilemmas. Like philosophy, video games invite reflection on fundamental questions of human existence, such as good and evil, freedom and morality. In addition, many video games incorporate philosophical themes and concepts into their plot and gameplay, allowing players to explore complex ideas in an interactive way. For example, games such as "Bioshock" or "Portal" address issues such as ethics in science, artificial intelligence and the existence of reality.

On the other hand, philosophy has also been interested in video games as a cultural and social phenomenon, analyzing their impact on people's lives and their potential as an educational tool. Some philosophers have argued that video games can be a legitimate art form that offers new forms of expression and communication.

As a summary of this topic we could say that philosophy and video games are intrinsically related, since both seek to deepen fundamental aspects of human life and offer new perspectives to understand the world around us.

I think video games and philosophy really shared a lot of things in similarities that we really need to look into. Well I hardly play vide games but I must strictly confess that they are always fun to play
