The nature of the waste is:

Solid waste if poorly disposed of is called Contaminating Solid Waste. If it goes to the Sanitary Landfill it is called Garbage.
Solid waste is sent to the landfill after the extraction of materials, products or their parts.
It depends on the amount and variety of waste generated, the reverse logistics management system, including garbage collection trucks.
That is why the lack of Environmental Education, the implementation or lack of the Reverse Logistics System and the lack of resources for the collection and transfer of garbage to the landfill, condition the development of unauthorized (illegal) Transfer Stations, which in Maracaibo are called "playas" or "playones" (beaches)..
There is the transfer of problems, the polluting solid wastes (solid wastes placed in Transfer Stations) are intentionally moved, by rain or wind, to another place on the ground or to the water. Also by burning they pass into the atmosphere.
Reverse Logistics reintroduces waste and unused products (for whatever reason) into the Logistics Cycle.
When it does not exist or is insufficient, a waste management problem is expressed..

For integrated waste management, we must learn and configure the Integrated Logistics System.
It closes the Logistics Cycle. It does this by introducing waste into the Logistics Cycle, through the activities of the Reverse Logistics Cycle.

Hydrosphere
Lithosphere

Hello friend, waste management is important to prevent pollution of our ecosystems with so much generation of high diversity of materials and some of them tend to be toxic, I think that governments should promote educational campaigns to raise awareness in citizens, it is part of environmental health, as there is currently a great imbalance.

Hi @eliorrios, waste or garbage management is a problem that plagues us all as a society. If Venezuela would work a little on what recycling consists of we would have a clean and organized country environmentally minded, but on the contrary it is difficult to go out to the streets and not see remains of garbage on the ground. And let's not leave aside the lack of conscience of the human being that does not have an environmentalist culture. Greetings
