Most people have a bigger goal for their life, one in which - they've accomplished all that they wanted, and are celebrated for exceptional success. But when you ask them, what are their step by step goals to turning their bigger goals into reality? They're short of words.

It's both important to have a long term goal, and short term goals. The long term goals give you an overall direction of where you're going to in life. And the short terms goals are important to keep track, so that you stay on course. And you're not distracted.

If you want to build a house, the house doesn't just stand immediately because you want it to. As you put one brick after another, gradually the house starts to become realistic. Hence, you need to think of those little things that you can do each day, that takes you a step towards achieving your biggest goals.

Many people who don't have daily activities that take them closer to their goals, are merely wishful thinkers. It's like imagining that you want a house to stand, and yet you're not laying the bricks one after the other - it's practically impossible.

The problem that most people have is that, they haven't broken down their bigger goals into little bits, that can be completed each day. If you want to achieve your long term goals, it's most paramount that you create every day goals - that when achieved, takes you steps towards achieving your bigger goals.
