Are our actions really free or are they determined by factors beyond our control?

Everything we do and execute throughout our lives are actions coordinated by ourselves, but perhaps they may be determined by some external factors that are beyond our will, which is why the following question should be asked:

Are our actions free or are they determined by factors outside our will?

The fact that our actions have the choice to be able to say that maybe they depend on us or maybe not, is what is known as free will, but who gave us that gift?

It may be that it is the very nature of being able to be human, along with the reasoning the human being has since its origins with free will. But perhaps many of you will ask yourselves:

What does it mean to have free will?

It means that we are free to choose among multiple options, also free will means that we can act freely according to our own decisions, however not because we are free to choose we will not have responsibilities for our actions.

The human being is free to choose how to act, however depending on his actions are bad and may suddenly bring negative consequences, then we must assume the responsibilities for such acts. The responsibilities on the bad that we act has a legal, moral and even religious implication, and this is because in the nature of the free will was the options of having chosen the right decision that derives from our acts.

In short, free will is something that has always accompanied human beings throughout their history, allowing them to choose the bad or the good, but always being aware of the consequences.

If free will did not exist, perhaps we would be configured to act in only one way, either for the bad or for the good, but we would not have the power to choose.

It is normal that any person could think that we are not really free to choose, since there are surrounding factors in our environment that condition our ability to act and act and makes us behave in a particular way, therefore many may think that this conditioning makes that free will does not exist for the human being.

What I really think is that our life is determined by free will, especially when our environment gives us the opportunity to think and make decisions, however there are other ways in which we are conditioned to choose a single form and manner, so that some circumstances we will be free to choose (free will) and in other circumstances we will be conditioned (determinism).

The important thing is that whatever the circumstance is, as human beings we must act according to our capacity of reasoning to act in favor of the common good, where our actions are good for us and do not affect our fellow men.

You are right, is the work we do independent or not? I think when we do it for ourselves then we are independent but if we do it under someone's pressure then it is not independent.

There is a power of free will, but we must ensure that our actions in anybway does not affect another person negativity.
