Your analysis is excellent dear @karupanocitizen, the economy of nft games is volatile, therefore, when entering we assume the risk that corresponds, games like axie infinity have become the work activity of many citizens in different countries, we never imagined that we could earn so much money just for playing. Like you I think this is just the beginning of the nft based gaming system, it is a recreational window that allows you to earn money.

Greetings my dear friend @amestyj, axie has become a social phenomenon in countries like ours, who would think that one day a professional would earn more money playing a video game than developing his profession? and while interest in this particular game may fade, I'm sure it's just the tip of a big iceberg
