Suppress emotions, Virtue or defect? meet him here. Part I
I consider the occasion propitious to discuss an issue that is always necessary to take into account "our emotions", even more so when times become difficult and the situations to be faced can generate stress, anxiety, anguish.
The intention of this post begins with the premise of understanding what emotions are, if repressing certain emotions turns out to be a virtue or a mistake and how this affects our body.
I dedicate this post to friends @crypto.piotr, @juanmolina and @josevas217 who so graciously welcomed me to this community and who have also experienced moments of great tension, I hope this writing serves as a balm or reflection.

But? What are emotions
I imagine that this is not the first time you have heard that we are energy, that everything is energy and even objects have energy and even if you don't believe it, emotions are also energy.
Yes! you read that right, emotions are energy in motion.
There are 5 basic emotions (you can check this on any internet site), we will mention them below:
1.- Love
2.- Fear
3.- Joy
4.-Sadness
5.-Anger or anger
Depending on where your emotion starts, you will expand other nuances and variations of it.
Let's get to know each one of them and their variants
As we said before, emotions are and act like moving energy and the most common or recurrent ones tend to show a degradation or variability that can be perfectly associated with a color scale.
In this scale of colors we will find the primary or initial emotions in the center and depending on what we are feeling it will be created as a wave of many other emotions (that is what I mean by the variants of the emotion).
If I had to order in the color scale the primary or main emotions that will trigger so many other emotions, I would give the central position to the following: admiration, ecstasy, terror, amazement, grief, hatred, fury and surveillance.
Understanding these degradations:
In order for you to see more clearly the variations or degradations that can arise from a primary emotion, we will exemplify some of them, the intention will not only be the management of information but so that from now on you are attentive to what they can trigger in you.
Let's start with amazement, it is not necessary to explain it, without a doubt, each one of us has experienced it, as it begins to expand like a wave in you (energy in motion), you will be able to see how from amazement you will go to surprise From surprise you will go to distraction and this can end in a fright (if the surprise is unpleasant).
Another emotion would be grief, that if is strong and we usually feel it from the depths of our being, it can expand and reach sadness, melancholy and disappointment.
Continuing with or low frequency emotions, we have one that is difficult to overcome, this is the emotion of hatred, which if allowed to lodge inside can cause adversity, boredom and remorse. Anger however can give way to fury, anger and contempt and when I am in the emotion of terror, I expand fear and submission.
Experiencing the thrill of vigilance (predisposition) can expand anticipation, interest, and treachery.
Having said the above, we can conclude that moods are nothing more than a reflection of our emotional state, which, as we explained, can start from a primary emotion and trigger many other variations of the same emotion.
Pleasant Emotions
If I am in internal ecstasy, I expand joy, serenity and optimism. When I am in the thrill of admiration I expand trust, approval and love.
The pleasant emotions are: joy, love, acceptance and peace. Feeling any of these makes us feel full, confident, happy, ecstatic and this expansive wave offers well-being to ourselves and to those around us.
Who has not felt in love? Undoubtedly next to love will be emotion, illusion, happiness, passion and motivation, we are not talking only about love between people but also about a project, entrepreneurship, for the animals, nature and many others that will unleash many variations.
For today we learned about the most common emotions, those that have a central position on the color scale and we understood that an emotion has many variations or degradations that other emotions produce.
There are low frequency emotions and these are unpleasant emotions, while other emotions have a higher vibration and are pleasant.
In the second part of this post I will explain to you how we should manage emotions, the curve of emotions and of course we will give you an answer to the title of this post, since we will determine if repressing certain emotions (especially negative or unpleasant ones) have an impact on our Body.
Hi @alanasteemit
Truly that emotions are expressions of the soul, so to speak. Learning to master emotions allows us to not only control ourselves but to be able to better handle different situations.
I agree when you say that moods are the expression of emotions, such as they are.
We can see that there are people who live vibrating low, and it is expressed with low self-esteem, very particular diseases, among other things.
Thank you for sharing this information, I will wait for the second article.
Certainly, emotions contain feelings, thoughts, pains of the soul or, on the contrary, love and happiness, that is why we must know how to recognize them in ourselves and in others, this will allow us to understand that a person who attacks you more than causes you pain is crying out for help because she doesn't know how to deal with her pain.
Thank you, for reading and for speaking from your experience, certainly ignored or unworked emotions can generate a lot of sadness, anxiety, anguish and depression as you say
Hi @alanasteemit Certainly we have had within the community moments of great tension, at the same time very pleasant emotions such as solidarity, constancy and affection for those who have treated us well, very good post, much success.
Thank you @aplausos, I am very happy that you liked the topic, I hope that the post serves as a catalyst to review the emotions that have been aroused these days. We make the difference.
