Dear my friends on this site i greet you all in the mighty name of our Lord Jesus Christ. i want to thank our country representative @yohan2on for this great opportunity He has given to each one of us to participate and consent on how every one has been affected by this second and current total lock-down in uganda.

Thank you so much for your support, kindness and creativeness , we shall always dedicate your good works unto the Lord for Him to bless you with even more of the desires of your heart.

How has the second Uganda total lock down has affected my life

While reimposing this second total lock down, President Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni said " the out break is diffuse and sustained with fatality ,critical illness levels and deaths compared to the country's first wave!! in minds i supported him because i already had my Aunt Nasaka Betty who had tested positive to covid 19 , admitted but later died immediately upon declaration of the second total lock down!!

May Her soul rest in eternal peace.

Although death is among God's plan of salvation but i can testify to you all that its more painful to loose your beloved one| ones over this covid 19 and you can not atleast attend the burial ceremony due to the restriction imposed thereon in this second total lockdown. Only a maximum of 20 people are allowed but still there are challenges since both public and private transport was banned!!

Being a muganda by tribe and also a man who loves his culture, this second total lock down has restricted or stopped us from attending cultural ceremonies like vigils (Olumbe) where both the family and friends of the deceased meet up, and perform several items as a way of respecting the deceased and comforting the family.

Churches closed: When we have a state of emergency , we then need prayers of emergency to seek for the helping hand of the Lord to overcome. following the directives we can do this through online prayers or at our homes with limited numbers.

Not physically attending church has caused me to miss meet ups with friends in the congregation of worshiping , partaking of the sacrament, presiding over different church activities like baptism, saving lives of many through face to face interviews and counselling .

Ready for baptism

A wise can see a blessing in every disaster

While battling with the challenges in this second total lock down, I count Steemit as one of the blessings in my life. Through my creativeness, patience and commitment i strongly believe that i can learn more about crypto currency and also earn from my submitted content during this period.

My dear friends, i encourage to follow all the SOPs during these 42 days of total local down in efforts of preventing the spread and stop covid19 surge from over whelming the healthcare system of Uganda.

Stay home, Wash hands, Mask up and stay safe!!

I thank you for your happy reading, commenting and upvoting.

Hi @vianneyspirit

It's a pity that you lost your beloved aunty to Covid19. May God strengthen and comfort you and your entire family in such a trying time.

Sorry for the other challenge you are faced with of not being able to meet up with your fellow believers for corporate prayers. God is unstoppable, I am glad you found a solution to that challenge through having online corporate prayer sessions.

I like the passion and dedication you have in doing the will of God. Keep it up! May God continue blessing you and may he make his face shine upon you, give you peace, have mercy on you in Jesus' name.

Thanks for your entry. Keep steeming
