Finance managers must have a broader and far sight outlook of the business and making sure that there is maximum utilization of the funds in an efficient manner.

Finance managers must realize that there actions or performance in the business have far consquences in the business so they are supposed to be careful.

Finance mangers must have a clear understanding about the business they are working for and a strong memory by nature. They shouldn't be forgetful.

He or she must supervise cash receipts made by the cashier and ensuring payments were made.

He or she ensures that record keeping and reporting is a must at work. To avoid incidents like confusion and mistakes.

He or she must ensure profit planning for the business, it's good to ensure maximum utilization of profits made by the business.

He's also responsible in decision making and as well allocation of capital in the business.

He's also responsible at understanding capital markets.
