HOW TO SET REWARDS ON YOUR POST FOR TEAM-UGANDA. 5% to team-uganda.

in Team Uganda3 years ago (edited)

Hey everyone,

I have been observing the fact that many of us Ugandans do not set the 5% rewards to team-uganda as was requestedby the country representative @yohan2on. Why is it important that you set your rewards to be shared out between you and your community account? I am not a moderator or CR; I know you may be asking yourself why it is such a big deal that i am writing about it, but , it is a BIG DEAL!!!

This initiative is meant to help the community grow and have a strong vote from the community account. Other communities are doing it and are growing huge by the day with thousands of steem power. The support of these accounts helps the members to earn huge rewards even without the big steemcurators' votes. They don't have to wait for the votes to earn. How have they actualized this mega account? Through setting the rewards to their community accounts.

  • It is a good strategy to grow our own accounts through up-votes,
  • The community has got a fund that can help with different projects in the community,
  • It creates a unified goal with which each one is striving to be apart of. This creates a feeling of togetherness.
  • The steemcurators are always seeing what's going on; a serious community where members give a share of rewards to the community account hugely influences them to get interested in that community. That is why if your post has a %ntage share in some communities, it can be easily chosen as post of the day or upvoted by the big accounts.

And who doesn't dream of a big vote by steemcurator1? It's everybody's dream. Those that have seen it, know how awesome and rewarding it feels. At times your CR will tell you it's mandatory to put atleast 5% but people may not go ahead to follow that directive because they do not fathom the consequences of doing it. So how do you set these rewards to team-uganda? Simple.

Step 1

  • Go to the posting section of Team Uganda

Step

  • It will take you to the posting board, where you can type out your HEADING, BODY and TAGS. Beware that below the tag line there is a Rewards section showing the shared ratio; by default it's 50%SBD/50%SP. To change these settings click "Advanced settings".

Step 3

  • In the advanced settings, click "Add Account".

Step 4

  • In the percentage box, Click the %ntage of share you would like to give out to the community on that post only. Please note that the settings are to be changed for every new post and in order not to forget, you should do it right after you have written the heading otherwise its possible to forget easily.

Step 5

  • In the @ or account name box, type team-uganda. If you have given to some accounts before, the names will automatically come; choose it.

Step 6

  • Save the settings. Make sure the account name is the right one so as not to give to another community or account. Always double check before pressing "SAVE". It will show beneficiaries set to 1.

You are all done! You have set the rewards to your favorite community! Feel free to do this for other communities so that your post gets voted and rewarded better. However this post puts emphasis on @team-uganda, lets do this for team-Uganda! I need anyone who has read and understood to comment below in the comments that "I will set my rewards for every post to benefit team-uganda from today onwards". So lets do this Ugandans! I would mention all of you but the team is growing humongous these days! A job well done to our country rep. Kudoz toyou sebo! By-a.

This is really so awesome and educative, a couple of weeks back, I had questions from some community members on how this is done.

Now I guess you know how it's done?
