A LIFETIME MEMORY ON A MOUNTAIN BIKE

Warm greetings 🌺 my fellow steemians. Today I bring you into my memory of the biking experience I had with my friends before the second phase of the pandemic.
Biking here is indeed healthy and more of adventuring on it, you are able to reach deep far into the communities where a landcruiser (keep) can't reach.
We had the best of the day and nice views of the well terraced Kigezi regions ,lakes and rivers and the magnificent views of the one of the Virunga mountains.

The lake in the background is called lake Chahafi, it's a twin with lake Kayumbu. All these lakes are larva dammed- lakes. We have about 4 lakes here in Kisoro district that's part of Kigezi region. Amongst those, in Kigezi region, Lake Bunyonyi is ranked as the deepest lake not only here but also in the whole of Uganda 🇺🇬

Their waters are very safe drinking and have no waterborne diseases like Bilharzia. In addition,no dangerous water animals like crocodiles and hippos, so very safe for swimming 🏊🤽

After a long ride,we had to push abit,we had done many uphills so we were waiting for a downhill ( free wheel😄🚵) which is also part of the experience here that nature can give.

The fascinating landscape and the beauty here keep pushing you and make you want to keep the ride.

I took these photos using my cell phone and I hope you will just imagine the beauty if I had used the real super camera 📸. I'm planning to buy one so that I can keep sharing with you nice photography and more exciting cultural photography here

You meet many little kids waving at you and some asking if they can have a selfie with you..their funny smiles and jokes makes you appreciate the life.

These ones are my friends,they usually see me biking around, so this time they met me on a a just push, and they said" Hillary, we need a photo with you" which I actually took and made them very happy 🤣. They were playing a hand made football from polythene bags. It's commonly in the communities here by the kids

On the same day, i got another group that wanted to do a short trail. They were from the USA, it was a really fun with you my friends Sam,Joshua and Tom. You came as travellers but you left as really great friends.
