I hope we have all been ok.
I love the way we are increasing and multiplying as a family of late.The bible in the book of Genesis 1:22(KJV)
God said Be fruitful and multiply! and fill the waters in the seas , and let fowl multiply in the earth.

This was a command that God gave us when he created mankind.There is no way we can fail to bear fruit after this command.These fruits manifest in different ways. Some it is financially, fruit of the womb, promotions, fruit of our baskets. As a family , ours came in form of fruit of the womb.

My sister in law gave birth to a bouncing baby boy on Saturday. I received this message as I was travelling from Masaka back to Kampala. She gave birth from Bugolobi Medical Centre at around 1:36 am. Good enough, my little sister was around, giving her support as she wallowed in pain in the labor suit.

I reached the hospital in the afternoon on Saturday and she recapped for me the whole ordeal. This was her second born boy but she told me it was more painful than the first labor pain she went through.

Looking at my nephew, he was a **polydactyly **, meaning he was born with an extra finger on both the left and right side of his hands instead of the normal five fingers. I understand this can be hereditary , to which I confirm, my brother also had one during his childhood.

Can Polydactyly be treated?

Treatment for polydactyly depends on how and where the extra digit is connected to the hand or foot. In most cases, the extra digit is removed in the child’s first two years. This gives the child typical use of their hand and allows their feet to fit into shoes.
Sometimes adults will have the surgery to improve the appearance or function of their hand or foot.
Surgery is usually outpatient, with local or topical anesthesia. Different surgical techniques are a subject of ongoing research.imagesource

Fortunately, both my nephew’s extra fingers have been tied up so that it can fall off eventually.
I am glad they are all fine and in perfect health because the doctor discharged them that afternoon.
