Today I woke up determined to take a Covid 19 jab.
I had dreaded for so long to take due to the theories surrounding it. I told my self "no, I must do this for my own good". I dressed up, put on my best and hit the road to the vaccination center. I was not sure of were exactly the place was but I trusted that I could not get lost.

I took a stroll under the hot sun this afternoon at around 13:00pm and It took me about an hour to get to that destination.
I was welcomed by a lady at the reception who inquired about what I needed and I told her I wanted to be vaccinated. A consent form was handed over to me with its terms and conditions among which included,

1. Whether one has any underlying conditions like hypertension , HIV, Diabetes.
2. Whether one took a Covid test using PCR and the results were negative during the past 14 days,
3. Whether one has a bleeding issue
4. Whether one is pregnant
5. Whether one is breast feeding.

Then at the back of the form, one has to consent to being vaccinated, fill in one’s name and address, one’s National Identification Number, the name of the vaccine one is consenting to .
I filled in the consent form and was ready to be vaccinated.

However, from nowhere, my heart started racing and asking questions of whether I was really ready for this. I told my self there is no turning back, I must get this jab.
I handed over the consent form to one gentleman who gave me a seat as I waited.

I had my first Jab! and a vaccination card was given to me, glory to God.

I am sure I will not have any side effects and the vaccine will love my body.
With the mandatory vaccination campaign, a vaccination certificate will soon be a requirement to access any institution ,work place.

So I urge my fellow Steemians , let us go get the jabs, as we observe all the standard operating procedures and trust in God for his protection.

Remember, give to Ceaser what belongs to Ceaser and to God what belongs to God.
