A mosquito net is a type of meshed curtain that is circumferentially draped over a bed or a sleeping area to offer the sleeper barrier protection against bite from mosquitoes and thus against diseases they may carry.

These mosquito nets have helped to prevent all malaria cases in Africa and are responsible for saving over 7 million lives. Malaria is a deadly disease , transmitted through mosquito bites, that causes fever and headache. The human organs that are most affected in severe malaria are lungs. Lung dysfunction occurs in all cases of adults with falciparum .

Ways of sleeping under a mosquito net include,tuck the net under the matress to keep the mosquitoes out. Tuck the netting over a crib under the matress .pull the net tightly to avoid chocking hazards for young children . Tie the sides of the net to other objects if they are sagging in towards the sleeping areaa.

Polyester is always a good material for the mosquito nets. The advantage of this material is that if u suffer from any dust allergy,its the best option because the gaze is so fine and it doesnt let the dust get in.
