The Light of All That Falls (The Licanius Trilogy #3) by James Islington - REVEW

in OCD5 years ago

I had enough free time, so I finished the Licanius Trilogy by James Islington, and I must tell you right from the start that from the moment I closed the last page of the book, this trilogy has definitely become one of the top 3 pieces I've read.

So far, I have written to you about the functioning of the world and the ideas the writer envisioned, and it continued in this section. The difference that is evident here is that the journey through time that he skillfully introduced into the story here becomes fully relevant. At the same time, they will not confuse you as much as before, and although many things seem random in the last part of the trilogy, they will make full sense and complete the story into one incredibly ingenious whole.

From the very beginning, the characters' character traits accentuated their moral values more than any other. The charm is that James, in his work, probably taught by some of his experiences and ideals, has succeeded in instilling genuine friendly love. The one right, unspoiled in all spheres and characters and their motives.

And of course, he skillfully brought the story to a climax. You know the very feeling that you simply have an assumption that there is a plot and a turn that will inevitably happen, but you simply cannot determine what it is. And then it happens, the alit is not the end ... I wouldn't tell you too much further, you'll have to make sure for yourself.

The writing style itself has not changed much during this trilogy, which is certainly commendable. The quality that was established at the outset extends even through some small details that you can only get an impression of after reading the entire trilogy.

The end, of course, is perhaps the most important part of an idea. It is unique in many ways, but I could also draw a small parallel to the end of The Wheel of Time. Which in my case certainly means a lot of good, because after all, it's one of my favorite epic fiction series.

And again another world of epic fiction made a big impression on me, and not just with imagination. I hope to get back to you soon with some new reviews, and new impressions. Until then, write, read and enjoy.
