Incomplete- Poetry

in OCD4 years ago

Like a begger on the street with low self esteem,
I look up to passersby hoping for alms.
Two great forces rivaling for the outer part of me.
White blood cell failing, not perfect, so human, so mortal.
If possible, take this cup of suffering off me.

Who am I to condemn what exists before me?
What am I to curse what shed light to my path?
A lesser light yet, with great significance.
Why do I split inside of me?
Why do I feel so incomplete?

Trapped between the trees,
The full moon smiled as the stars evaporate.
As it must have sensed the irony.
Why do I split inside of me?
Why do I feel so incomplete?

If you be still and listen to the wind,
You'd hear the queasiness of the far away distant huntsman.
Defined as an idyllic catastrophe.
And while it glows, it spread it spell to possess.
Gradually we became demoniac.

Two great forces rivaling for outer part of me.
Hidden between trees as I suffers this divorce.
I perceived as he perceived when he perceived it.
No water nor blood will I spill;
As I enjoy the magnificent torture of nature.

Food everywhere yet I famish.
As many goes into the city for a feast.
Some finds the feast never meant to be.
If possible, take this cup of suffering off me.
If possible, let it pass over me.

Moral: At times in life, a season comes when we are so confused. A time we realized how powerful and effective the curse in Eden's Garden is. A time we see the supernatural oppression of nature taking over our life for destruction. Some might try to fight it out, but later realise they were destined for such. From beginning, God has withheld the gift of rest from mortals when pouring out his jar of blessings, according to George Herbert's 'THE PULLEY', so that if goodness lead man not back to God, weariness may lay man to his breast. Maybe that why humans can never be satisfied. Some pray they are saved from the wedlock of nature, family background, curses, superstition etc. As they hope for the rising of the sun once again. Even Jesus passed through his curse "I perceived as he perceived when he perceived it" so we are not exceptional. But even the moon can smile too.
