Budget travel has so many advantages. In fact, I prefer it, since I can see so much simply by wandering along the streets and paths of the town. Or I rent a scooter and go around the island or up into the mountains, far away from the hustle and bustle of the town.

And by not spending money on tours and tourist locations, one can save enough money so that by the end of they day, s/he can afford another nice meal and maybe a few drinks.

Can't think of a better way to travel.
