Finding peace with a couple smalls

This last week has been eventful to say the least, my daughter will be enjoying school from home for the next month due to this coronavirus "crisis." I'm seeing a black friday event for "necessities" locally and across social media.
I've been a long time follower of various conspiracy theories for entertainment, so my opinions may be a little strange...perhaps not. 🤪 Will just leave that there.

Chainsaw carving for me, is like a form of therapy or meditation if you will. When carving commissions, I dont enjoy it as much. Feels like a job sometimes unless its something I wanted to carve. So I'll break off and carve something from imagination. To gather my thoughts.
Heres a couple pieces I carved last week, starting with my first, a bear in meditation.

Started out as a quarter sawn log with a few crayon marks.

Couple cuts later, his form was found.

And then detail, both with the saw and other tools.

Burned, sanded and airbrush to finish off....easy

Another piece I did was this triple cub in a stump.
Was originally going to be raccoons but with the feedback I got from my followers on Facebook, I decided to go with bears. A sure sale.
