The basilisk is one of the ancient reptiles on the planet, and my favorite lizards, because it has a quality that is rarely appreciated in the animal kingdom.
The Australian basilisk lifts the skin from the neck as a sign of aggression to scare away its attackers.
I was sitting and I wanted to draw this beautiful reptile, and while doing the step by step, I could imagine what it would be like to have a pet basilisk, the first thing I would do is try to make it do the trick of unfolding its skin in front of my friends.
But there is something very true that reptiles cannot be tamed, another thing that these beautiful creatures have is that in the mating season they do a fun dance, hehehehe they are very fun and cool.
