Sublime Sunday - AFTER THE STORM AND OVER THE RAINBOW
Sometimes, with a little help of some shooting - friendly weather conditions, my pretty unremarkable neighborhood undergoes dramatic changes, that don't last long...
and don't leave any durable traces.
The streets and houses ...
... that I see every day ...
... and after all these years ... I often can't avoid to experience as the essence of the most unexciting normality...
... end up in what seems a different place and time ...
... some kind of parallel dimension ...
... the Twilight zone ...
... or something like that.
Sometimes, after the short summer storms ...
... it feels like being transported ...
... somewhere ...
... over the rainbow.
It looks like this elusive, ethereal arch is the only real object ...
... and everything else is a dream ... and sometimes ...
... moments like these can happen while I'm on the road ... on my way to the nearest city, the one called Pula .
In these occasion I just have to stop the car and take a few shots.
And that's it :) a short look at some strange, sublime moments in my neighborhood ... as always in these posts on Steemit, the photographs are my work.
