RE: The Driveway Saga Season 2; Episode: 9 - "Warm and Wet"
Ahhhh.. Wet Heavy Snow SUCKS!! We rarely get winter storms that pass through during bitterly cold weather. The kind of temps needed for soft light and fluffy powder. Nope. The bitter cold funnels in after the storm, so that wet snow freezes into blocks. Living so close to the ocean keeps Southern NJ sort of in that wet snow area. Coastal Low formations will dump the highest amounts of wet snow. The clippers usually will dump the light stuff, but in much lower amounts.
I still can't get over how beautiful your yard is! :-) Just not when you have to clean up snow. haha.
Just a lot of snow making it look nice, it looks kind of nice in the summer when everything is green and leafed out, then comes fall and well not so nice. We don't really have any manicured parts, just letting nature return.
