Option 2 would be preferable. I stand by what I said though. Unless @justinsunsteemit does something to regain my trust, and it would have to be something HUGE (even then probably not), I will have absolutely NOTHING to do with any project he's part of again, and I'll advise everybody I know to do the same. I don't associate with liars and con men. It'd suit me fine if him and his money staid right here.
