Greetings Everyone,

As an experienced steemian of this platform I'm going to share some tips to my new friends on steemit who have sign up but don't know how and where from start. Here in this blog I'll discuss more about it. If you like my tips feel free to follow my steemit profile @shohana1 and ask me anything you wants to know about steemit. I'm right here to help you as much I can do.

At the beginning I was like you and was puzzled that where from I should start. At that time as a newbie steemian I made my introduction post which can be a very good beginning and you can find beginner's guide blog beginner's guide blog when you'll enter this platform. Its available on the left corner as a list where from you can pick and read all the guideline for a newcomer. There is also a community for you which known as Newcomers' Community

To make it easy for you I'm attaching links with this post. Follow @steemitblog to get updates and announcements but do not mention any curator in your blog for support or for no reason.

My Own Strategies To Grow With Steem:

At the beginning I've spend time to research on profile of successful bloggers that how they Write blog and how they use Markdown style to make their blogs full of quality, use punctuation, paragraphs and styling by using or adding graphics like gif, poster design with the blog to make it more attractive and eye catchy.

I've followed the tag they are using and mostly related to the blog. And I've seen many contests are open as opportunity to earn steem from contest holders and upvote from curators. There the journey begin. I've attended many more contests and won some steem as reward and that was indeed a good decision I've ever made even now I attend contest whenever find something really very interesting. Contests are the reason behind my success though I'm not really very successful but I feel myself successful with 15k steem and can guide newbies like you to grow with steem and whoever can contribute to steem growth.

So these simple things to keep on mind when you are blogging regularly and yes maintain regularity is important like you shouldn't be inactive for long time. Spend few days of a week and try to interact other users to get more followers and curators that will be helpful for you. Focus on quality of writing instead quantity or measuring how many votes and suppport you are having in your posts.

Now you may ask where you can find the ongoing contests on steemit? There is a very simple solution and for that simply follow the regular blog of @disconnect rat who post regular contest lists that can help us grow with steem. Pick your favorite contest, follow all the contest rules and take part in it. Resteem contest posts to help it getting maximum reach. Do not beg for upvotes in comment from curators or other users which can hamper the quality of you as an author or can also hurt your own self-respect. I do it so I suggest it to my new comer friends and hope they will welcome my suggestion and guidelines sincerely.
