Content etiquette

Content etiquette is the polite submission or appeal towards posts making on steemit community platform. And this entails coming up with a post with the right manner of approach in order to carry on it’s purpose successfully.knowing that steemit community is a great platform that pays for hard-work and knowledge shared.

THE PROOF OF BRAIN
Proof of brain indicates that you receive a token for a knowledge you have and share about a particular task.

What is Plagiarism
A lay man will define plagiarism as the act or process of taking someone’s else work or idea for use.
Plagiarism can further be seen as the act of sharing knowledge, concepts ,images, thought or ideas that does not belongs to you as your own.
A plagiarized contents lacks etiquette and also go against the rules and regulations of this community therefore such a post does not have the contents required on steemit platform and no reward for such a post.one of the purpose of this community is to reward for sharing contents and ideas that are readers friendly and it must be noted that a plagiarized content will have absolutely no reward.

Forms or types of plagiarism
In this post I’ll be explaining the common types of plagiarism which are listed below
•Direct plagiarism
•self plagiarism
•Mosaic plagiarism
•Accidental plagiarism

DIRECT PLAGIARISM
Direct plagiarism occurs when someone’s work section is cited without attribution and acknowledgment. This is really unprincipled and someone caught with such an act will be penalized.

SELF PLAGIARISM

“Self-plagiarism is one of the common types of plagiarism, where high school students copy and paste part of their previously submitted academic paper. If the student submits the same paper for two different class projects without asking the concerned teacher, then that is considered as self-plagiarism. Though self-plagiarism does not often end with serious legal action, that can affect the presentation for academic papers, research papers”source

Mosaic Plagiarism:
“There is another type of plagiarism which is unintentional. In this case, the plagiarist may have mentioned the source of the content he has referred to. But, if he/she does not acknowledge the quoted part or put them under the quotation marks correctly, then the writer commits the crime of plagiarism.

Whether intended or unintended, plagiarism is a serious crime as it ensures writing to be the property of a writer”source

ACCIDENTAL PLAGIARISM
“ Another common form of plagiarism involves accidental plagiarism. When the plagiarist misquotes the phrases or parts of the text he/she has taken from the source material or does not cite the source even or adequately or cites a wrong source, they that is considered as plagiarism”source
