Achivement2: BASIC SECURITY ON STEEM

Basically security means to keep a thing safe, security on steemit is very essential due to the nature of steem. Your steemit account has to be protected from any form of threat or danger, hence the essence of this post.

There are various keys that are used to perform various functions on the steemit block chain.

KEYS

1. PRIVATE POSTING KEY
2. PRIVATE ACTING KEY
3. PRIVATE MEMO KEY
4. PRIVATE OWNER KEY
5. MASTER PASSWORD
6. TRON KEYS

FUNCTIONS

1. Private posting key: it is used to log in and perform actions such as posting.

2. Private acting key: it is used for monetary actions such as transfer of tokens.

3. Private memo key: it is used to decrypt private transfer memos.

4. Private owner key: it is used to reset all the other keys and recommended to be kept offline at all times.

5. Master password: this password is what is used to generate the document for all other keys and must not be shared at any instance.

6. Tron keys: The private and public Tron keys are used to perform actions related to your Tron token
