This is my second post in newcomers community. Now i writing a post about achievement 2 ( basic security on steemit). Here, I will talk about some security of steemit.
In this post, i will try to give answer of some questions that about “basic security on security on steemit”.

Question 1: Do you have retrieve all the key about steemit.?

Answer:

Yes, i have retrieved all keys of steemit in my laptop, mobile phone and google drive.

Question 2: Do you know the restriction and function of each key on steemit.?

Answer:

Yes, I know the restrictions and functions about each key on steemit. I will describe these one by one.

There are 4 main keys. They are,

1.Posting key

2.Active key

3.Owner key

4.Memo key

Now, I will describe these step by step.

Posting key:

It’s 1st use, log in to steemit account. Posting key is an extraordinary key. It is used for some purposes such as posting a post, commenting and voting. Posting key control and cover all the steemit account.

Active key:

Active key control all over Monetary functions and wallet related action. It is use when power up and down steem.

Owner key:

It Plays an important role on steemit. It is a fundamental key. It has many use. The owner key is required when changing all other passwords of steemit account.

Memo key:

Memo key is related with the privacy and security of steemit account. It is use to decryption and encryption for the private massages which is transmitted and received in steemit account.

Question 3: How do you plan to protect your master password?

Answer:

Any blockchain, security come 1st. That’s why I took my master password in my laptop, mobile phone in google drive for protection.

Question 4: Do you know how to transfer your steem token into another steem account…?

Answer:

Yes, I know. Now I will tell you step by step.

Step 1: At first, you have to open your steemit account, secondly you have to open your profile, then you have to click on wallet for open it. Look above, click on three bar.
Step 2: Look the left corner and click on “steem” and see a list of some options will come. Then click on transfer.
Step 3: In this phase, you can see a login box, write your user name then select your amount of steem then give your active key at here. Then click for transfer. Now your steem will be transferred.

Question 5: Do you know how to power your steem…..?

Answer:

Yes, I know.I will describe these step by step.

Step 1: At first, open your profile, then click on wallet, then click on steem. Now see, there will come a little list of some option.

Step 2: Now, click on power up and see a box will come, fill the box by required information. Then give your active key and click on next.

That’s all about basic security on steem.
