Hello Friends,

In this post we are going to see what is Plagiarism and its various dimensions.

PLAGIARISM is using someone else's work as your own and giving no credit of it to the original author.
As a part of social media community we often share our knowledge, ideas on various platforms. However many people knowingly or unknowingly just copy paste someone else's writing or pictures without giving due credit. This copy pasting is called as plagiarizing. Plagiarism is not limited tot text or pictures but also includes art, music, design, paintings etc. Basically passing on any original work as your own.
There are many forms of plagiarism such as,

• Exactly copying as it is,
• Giving inaccurate credits,
• Accidental or unintentional,
• Inaccurate credits,
• Mixing your work with plagiarized work.

Now lets see how to avoid plagiarism.
Produce original content and if you are using someone else's work then give proper credits. Citation is the way of giving credits. You can do so by writing the used work in Quotation marks then provide the LINK of original source. In that way people can know that you have used that work from a different source and they can look original source also. Also providing original source improve credibility of your work.
