Achievement 4: Applying Markdown by @ugochukwuprosper
Welcome to my achievement 4 post. From the post from @cryptokannon about styling markdowns, these below are the markdowns I like the most.
Headers
I love the way she spoke about headers making me understand how organized my work will look with headers.
How to apply headers
You can use headers depending on the size, this means that you can make different sizes of headers as seen below:
Header 1
Header 2
Header 3
Header 4
This is how to achieve the above markdown:
# Header 1
## Header 2
### Header 3
#### Header 4
The more hashtags you add, the smaller the header produced.
Tables
The next markdown style i'd like to show is the tables option.
Space 1 | space 2 |
---|---|
Space 3 | Space 4 |
Space 5 | Space 6 |
How to get the table markdown style above is:
Space 1 | space 2
-------|-----
Space 3 | Space 4
Space 5 | Space 6
Adding link to post
Another markdown style that i consider interesting is addition of links to a post
I learnt from my research, that in case you need to feature the hyperlink to the profile of a steemit user, all you need to do is add @ in the front of the account username.
For example @ugochukwuprosper
Also if you want to use the link of a site all you need to do is to write the full site down and it becomes clickable on the actual post.
For example:https://www.steemit.com/@ugochukwuprosper
Centering markdown style
I will to talk about the centering markdown, it makes your writeup presentable and nice . Example is shown below:
Centered header
How to apply centered markdown style.
## <.center.> Centered header<./center.>
Ignore the full stop (.) in the above code it was just for illustration.
Quotes
Finally the last mark style i will talk about is quote, you can add quote by doing the following below:
Jesus Christ is the son of God
If for instance, the quote you wish to add to the post is "Jesus Christ is the son of God" below shows the easy code to make it look like what is seen above
> Jesus Christ is the Son of God
Special thanks to @cryptokannon for the Tutorial on markdowns
It was really helpful.
Congratulations.
